Essential Criteria:

• Tertiary qualification in Planning or a relevant discipline 

• Demonstrated extensive experience (5 years or more) in the formulation and implementation of strategic and land-use planning policy  

• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills 

• Strong analytical, project management and organisational skills, with a demonstrated       ability to prioritise and manage competing tasks, meet deadlines and achieve targets.

Desirable Criteria:

• Previous experience in a local government environment and/or the development industry  

• Experience in development assessment and effective management of a high number of competing deadlines

• Demonstrated experience in projects requiring a high level of urban design outcomes.
